It’s Sunday and my ankle seems fine. I just got back from a bicycle ride and spent 15 minutes stretching and icing. I have some “tingly” sensations in the muscles above my ankle but the ankle itself is relatively pain free. I think the tingling (actually lots of small muscle contractions) are the result of some new arch supports I put in my cycling shoes. The shape is a little different and puts pressure on different areas of my feet than the other insoles. As a result, my foot was positioned a little differently than before. I will see if my feet adjust to the new insoles. If not, I will switch back to the old insoles and tell the doctor about it.

My legs are getting used to pedaling and my breathing was a bit more consitent. My body is getting used to working again and I like that. I can tell that I have a ways to go as far as getting back to where I was January 1st but I’m getting there.

I have been pretty good about doing my stretching and it seems to be helping. I will take Monday off and ride inside on my trainer Tuesday and Wednesday.
